Frequently Asked Questions

How is average DAU (Daily Active Users) calculated?

We count up the total number of unique users who have activity in your app each day and average it across the calendar month.

Is there a trial period so I can try out GetSocial?

As long as you have less than 500 DAU, we consider that testing and you can use the product for free. Once you cross 500 DAU, you enter one of our paying tiers. Although our contracts have a 1-year term (locking in your price) you can get out of the contract with 30-day notice at any time.

Do you charge extra for multiple platforms?

No, we don’t charge extra for multiple platforms. If you have an iOS and Android app we aggregate the number of average Daily Active Users (DAU), across both platforms.

When do you charge and how do I pay?

We charge at the end of the month. You can pay through direct bank transfer, PayPal, and credit card.

Can we share an account with multiple people in our team?

Yes, you can invite as many team members as you like.

Which features are included in the price?

All features are included in the price.

Can I export my data?

Yes, you can export all your users’ details and their social behavior to merge with your own backend or create Facebook Custom Audiences and Facebook Lookalike Audiences. You can also export raw events or integrate with one of our Data Partners like Adjust and Appsflyer to get events directly on their dashboard.

I have more than one app in my portfolio. How do you charge?

We aggregate the number of average Daily Active Users (DAU), across all your apps and platforms. You don’t have to pay for each app separately. So if you have 2 apps with 50k DAU, you get charged the 100k DAU price, benefiting from the volume discount.
